Senior Purchaser

About the role

The Senior Purchaser will lead and execute procurement activities for complex, high‑value, and multi‑regional projects within our global aquaculture initiatives, ensuring alignment with global standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning and execution for strategic packages, including prioritisation, progress tracking and stakeholder reporting.
• Manage supplier relationships within the assigned scope, covering sourcing, negotiations, due‑diligence, qualification and performance monitoring.
• Ensure strong governance, documentation quality and audit readiness across all procurement activities.
• Identify and mitigate procurement and supply‑chain risks, contributing to KPI reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of processes, tools and ways of working, and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Relevant higher education, preferably in supply chain, procurement or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain roles.
• Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements such as Transparency Act, anti‑corruption and trade rules.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication abilities.
• International experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
