Senior Red Team Consultant – Google Cloud

About the role

Mandiant Consulting is looking for a Senior Red Team Consultant to lead offensive security assessments for Google Cloud customers. The role blends deep technical expertise with the ability to communicate findings to both technical teams and senior executives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, scope and execute red‑team engagements, including external perimeter breaches, social‑engineering campaigns, and phishing simulations.
• Develop command‑and‑control infrastructure, payloads, and exploit code to test detection and response capabilities.
• Perform privilege escalation, lateral movement, and data exfiltration while evading EDR solutions.
• Produce detailed reports and deliver presentations to technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Google Cloud teams to ensure findings align with cloud‑specific security controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in at least three of the following: application security, red‑team assessments, EDR evasion, exploit development, cloud security, social engineering, scripting or tool development.
• Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
