Senior Relationship Manager Corporate Banking

About the role

CBD, a leading UAE bank, is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager for its Corporate Banking division in Dubai. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients, driving revenue, and ensuring high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an assigned portfolio of corporate clients, meeting profitability and growth targets.
• Identify, solicit and acquire new corporate customers across assets, liabilities, trade and treasury sales.
• Negotiate credit lines in line with underwriting standards and risk targets, preparing detailed credit proposals.
• Conduct regular client visits, record call reports and generate business opportunities.
• Collaborate with client service teams to cross‑sell products and increase share‑of‑wallet.
• Coordinate with Wealth/Consumer Banking to refer opportunities.
• Ensure timely credit administration, annual reviews and monitoring of financial covenants.
• Lead a team of Assistant Relationship Managers and Support Officers, set targets and provide coaching.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate banking relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Track record of acquiring and retaining corporate clients.
• Ability to lead and develop junior relationship managers.
• Excellent communication and client‑service orientation.
