Senior Reliability Engineer

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join its Industrial Energy Technology (IET) team in Abu Dhabi. You will apply a broad range of reliability techniques across diverse industries, lead projects from inception to delivery, and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Apply reliability methods such as RCM and FMECA to client assets in mining, oil & gas, utilities, and manufacturing.
• Lead and influence multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met.
• Act as an advisor and trainer on reliability approaches, supporting business development initiatives.
• Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques and procedures to meet specific client needs.
• Manage multiple moderate‑size projects or portions of larger programs simultaneously.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance or reliability roles within relevant industries.
• Proven track record in project management and team coaching.
• Strong analytical ability to extract and interpret data from varied sources.
