Senior Robotics Software Engineer – Payload Integration

About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to lead payload integration for its Maneuver Dominance team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on connecting autonomous platforms with mission payloads, stores management systems and ground stations, ensuring reliable data flow in demanding operational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable networked software that interfaces with routers, switches and managed networks.
• Integrate stores management systems (SMS) and other payload subsystems to coordinate release and control of munitions.
• Architect and document APIs and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) using HTTP, REST and gRPC.
• Engineer low‑level data transport layers over UDP and TCP for low‑latency, reliable communication.
• Write hardware‑interfacing code to connect sensors, actuators and other vehicle components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver mission‑critical autonomy solutions.
