Senior Sales Engineer – Remote (Dubai)

About the role

Dedrone, by Axon, is the world’s most trusted smart airspace security company. It delivers a comprehensive command‑and‑control solution that detects, tracks, identifies, analyzes and mitigates drone threats using AI/ML technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business and technical presentations for customers, channel partners and internal stakeholders.
• Provide first‑level technical support throughout the pre‑sales cycle, including RFP/RFI responses.
• Coordinate proof‑of‑concept (POC) and pilot projects, handling logistics, configuration and outcome reporting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to drive growth within their customer base.
• Capture feature requests and feed them back to product, sales, development and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Associate degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3‑5 years of customer‑facing pre‑sales or consulting experience, preferably selling SaaS solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Required skills

• IP networking fundamentals (IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, PoE, Ethernet, IEEE 802.11).
• Linux operating system proficiency.
• Experience with SaaS‑based solutions.
• Basic security knowledge (IPsec, InfoSec, hacking methodologies).
• Understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and storage devices.
