Senior Sales Manager - Leisure

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager – Leisure will lead the development and conversion of leisure and travel‑trade business for Yas Plaza Hotels’ portfolio on Yas Island. This quota‑carrying position works closely with revenue, distribution, marketing and operations teams to turn pipeline opportunities into measurable room‑night and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own, grow and retain a portfolio of FIT, wholesale, consortia and travel‑agent accounts across source markets.
• Convert leads through proactive calls, face‑to‑face meetings, negotiations and ongoing account servicing.
• Develop and execute detailed account plans covering targeting, pricing, packaging and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, including pipeline entries, activity notes and forecasted closures.
• Organise and lead site inspections, FAM trips, trade visits and sales blitzes to activate accounts.
• Plan and participate in trade shows, roadshows and targeted promotions, monitoring conversion and ROI.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management and Distribution to ensure correct rates, availability and campaign setup.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and marketing to enhance guest experience and maximise profit margins.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of sales experience in leisure, hospitality or travel‑trade environments.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and room‑night targets.
• Strong negotiation and account‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with cross‑functional teams.
