Senior Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to lead on‑site operations for high‑profile construction projects in the UAE. Reporting to senior engineering leadership, you will ensure that works are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering methodologies, method statements and detailed execution plans for assigned work areas.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams to align with project schedules.
• Review construction drawings, technical sub‑missions and red‑line mark‑ups to guarantee accurate execution and proper as‑built documentation.
• Supervise daily on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications and sequencing.
• Conduct internal inspections and work closely with the QA/QC department for material approvals, inspections and quality close‑outs.
• Identify technical deviations, propose corrective actions, monitor their effectiveness and report risks to management.
• Liaise continuously with subcontractors and the QA/QC team to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior site engineer in large‑scale commercial or hospitality construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality management and project delivery processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while taking ownership of site performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
