Senior Software Engineer – Backend Services

About the role

Property Finder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate the backend services that power the region’s leading property marketplace. You will work on high‑traffic, consumer‑facing systems where latency, reliability, and cost efficiency directly impact millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in TypeScript (Node.js) and Go.
• Own the full lifecycle of services: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration based on production data.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and front‑end engineers to translate requirements into well‑architected, maintainable systems.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continuous performance improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough design and code reviews, and help define backend standards and best practices.

Required profile

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably on high‑traffic, consumer‑facing platforms.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript (Node.js) for building new services.
• Working knowledge of Go or ability to ramp up quickly on existing Go codebases.
• Experience designing and operating micro‑service architectures.
