Senior Software Engineer – Core Experiences (Dubai)

About the role

Speechify is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Core Experiences team in Dubai. You will help build and maintain the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product across multiple platforms, ensuring a seamless audio‑information experience for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster feedback, and balance integration/UX trade‑offs.
• Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing intelligence through better abstractions and algorithms.
• Design, develop, and ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and background jobs using Kotlin.

• Ability to work quickly, prioritize what can ship now versus later.
