Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Tagup is building an AI‑driven logistics operating system for the physical world. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and deliver core platform components that ingest, process, and act on billions of sensor data points for defense and critical infrastructure customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance REST APIs and microservices powering the Manifest platform.
• Develop the Tagup AI Agent to handle complex natural‑language queries and time‑series data with sub‑second latency.
• Build robust, high‑throughput ETL pipelines that serve as the platform’s “nervous system” for sensor data ingestion.
• Define and own architectural domains, including data modeling, deployment strategies, and monitoring.
• Implement sophisticated monitoring, alerting, and automated CI/CD pipelines to achieve 99.99% availability.
• Collaborate directly with PhD‑level data scientists and former special‑operations personnel.

Required profile

• Proven ability to operate at scale and deliver end‑to‑end solutions from scratch.
• Strong ownership mindset and bias for action in fast‑moving environments.
• Experience designing cloud‑native architectures without reliance on proprietary tooling.
• Comfort with high‑velocity decision‑making and minimal approval chains.
