Senior Software Test Manager

About the role

Dyson is seeking a Senior Software Test Manager to lead quality and verification strategy across embedded software, mobile apps, IoT devices and cloud platforms. You will shape testing architecture, drive automation innovation and ensure products meet the brand’s high reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own quality and verification strategy for multi‑platform products.
• Build, coach and lead high‑performing Test & QA teams, including Test Leads and Managers.
• Provide technical direction for system, integration, protocol, connectivity, security and compliance testing.
• Design test architecture, automation strategy and AI‑enabled test methods for complex systems.
• Represent Test & QA in program governance and influence release decisions with solid quality evidence.
• Maintain quality metrics, dashboards and analytics to monitor defect trends and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as security, RF, Matter and market regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software/embedded/IoT/app/cloud testing.
• 7+ years of experience managing Test & QA teams.
• Proven track record delivering quality for large‑scale, multi‑platform consumer products.

Required skills

• Automation programming: Python, C, Kotlin, Swift.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Protocol testing: BLE, Wi‑Fi, MQTT.
• Embedded, API and mobile test frameworks.
• Use of test tools: protocol analyzers, device sniffers, simulators, mobile app and cloud test utilities.
