Senior Solution Architect

About the role

Cognite is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join its Technology team in Abu Dhabi. In this customer‑facing position you will work directly with large industrial and energy clients, field sales, delivery teams and product development to design and deliver end‑to‑end AI and data solutions that improve productivity, profitability and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the definition of enterprise and solution architecture, including integration, data models and ingestion pipelines.
• Provide strategic and technical guidance to customers and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear architecture models using modeling tools.
• Build strong relationships with C‑level executives, IT and business data managers to drive long‑term adoption.
• Train internal teams and partners on solution specifics and best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Product Management to turn customer needs into product offerings.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in solution architecture for industrial or energy sectors.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
