Senior Staff Nurse – Al Khawaneej

About the role

The Senior Staff Nurse will lead clinical operations at the Al Khawaneej satellite clinic, ensuring safe, coordinated patient flow and high‑quality care. Working closely with the Patient Relations Supervisor and the Director, the role blends direct patient care with team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide age‑specific, patient‑centered care using the nursing process and critical‑care assessment techniques.
• Coordinate and prioritize patient care plans, revise them as needed, and initiate appropriate transfers.
• Document all clinical data accurately in the medical record and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) mandatory education and staff competency requirements.
• Participate in unit meetings, committees, and Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
• Handle narcotic, controlled, and semi‑controlled drugs safely and document administration per policy.
• Support staff nurses and care assistants in planning, implementing, and evaluating direct patient care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with extensive experience in critical and acute care settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and manage patient flow.
• Strong documentation skills and adherence to hospital policies and accreditation standards.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and competency maintenance.
