Senior Strategy Consultant – Government & Energy (MENA)

About the role

EY Parthenon Strategy is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to join its rapidly growing Government & Energy/Sustainability practice in the MENA region. You will work on high‑impact projects for corporates, governments and sovereign wealth funds, helping shape long‑term strategy roadmaps and growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in strategy work streams and translate client needs into concrete project tasks.
• Define engagement objectives and scope in collaboration with senior team members.
• Develop long‑term strategy roadmaps, market entry, go‑to‑market and digital transformation plans.
• Conduct commercial due diligence, greenfield analyses and growth strategy assessments.
• Work directly with C‑suite executives on strategic and transaction decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a top‑ranking university; MBA or Master’s from a leading business school is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in consulting or strategy roles within Government, Energy (Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, New Energies) or Sustainability sectors.
• Proven ability to assess industries, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.

Required skills

• Strong analytical capability to translate large qualitative and quantitative data sets into actionable plans.
• Experience using strategic tools such as market analysis, customer research, macro‑economic forecasting and portfolio optimization.
