Senior Structural Design Engineer – Concrete

About the role

SSE Engineering AG is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer with deep expertise in reinforced concrete and high‑rise structural systems. Based in Ras Al Khaimah, you will lead the design of large‑scale concrete developments, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and review of reinforced concrete systems for high‑rise and large‑scale projects.
• Prepare and validate structural calculations, design models, and construction drawings.
• Identify design discrepancies and propose engineering solutions in coordination with architectural and electromechanical teams.
• Perform structural analysis using industry‑standard software and review shop drawings, submittals, and design deliverables.
• Coordinate weekly with clients and stakeholders to align on progress and technical modifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and HSE regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and design progress updates for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in structural design, focusing on reinforced concrete and high‑rise structures.
• Unlimited Classification/Unlimited License Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, especially ACI 318 and ASCE 7.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
