Senior System Engineer – Microsoft 365 & Security

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to lead the administration, security and support of our Microsoft 365 and related infrastructure in Dubai. The role involves managing hybrid Exchange environments, identity and access solutions, endpoint management and email security platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.
• Manage Exchange Server, Exchange Online and hybrid messaging configurations.
• Oversee Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure AD Connect, MFA, Conditional Access and enterprise applications.
• Support mobile device management and mobile application management via Microsoft Intune.
• Maintain PKI/CA infrastructure, AD CS, SSL certificates and lifecycle management.
• Configure and monitor email security tools such as EOP, Defender for O365, SMTP gateways, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Provide endpoint protection and compliance using Trellix security products.
• Manage Infoblox DNS and other DNS services.
• Apply security patches, perform upgrades, optimise performance and design disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Lead mailbox migrations, Microsoft 365 transformation projects and hybrid cloud initiatives.
• Deliver L3 support, incident management, vendor coordination and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 and Exchange hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD, identity management and conditional access policies.
• Hands‑on experience with PKI/AD CS, SSL certificate management and DNS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with email security standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and Microsoft security solutions.
• Ability to lead complex migration and transformation projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work with vendors and stakeholders.
