Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance team. The role focuses on managing compliance with UAE tax regulations, including Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, and E‑Invoicing across assigned entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax computations, schedules and returns in line with UAE regulations.
• Calculate deferred tax, support tax accounting requirements and ensure compliance with the Federal Tax Authority.
• Prepare, review and file VAT returns, manage reconciliations, adjustments and refund applications.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File), conduct benchmarking analyses and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support implementation and ongoing management of UAE e‑invoicing requirements, coordinating ERP integration and monitoring invoice transmission.
• Prepare tax provisions, reconcile tax‑related GL accounts and assist with month‑end and year‑end reporting under IFRS.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and external auditors during audits, preparing documentation and responding to notices.
• Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation, identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies and support tax automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• 4–5 years of finance/tax experience, with at least 2–3 years of UAE tax exposure.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing regulations.
• Experience handling FTA compliance and tax audits.
