Senior Technical Software Engineer – AI Computer Vision

About the role

Emirates Group IT is seeking a Senior Technical Software Engineer to lead AI and Computer Vision initiatives that enable contact‑less, non‑intrusive passenger experiences across its airport ecosystem. You will work in an agile feature team, providing hands‑on development and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery, feasibility assessment, and technical design of Computer Vision and AI projects.
• Own end‑to‑end solution delivery, from requirement translation to scalable, secure architecture.
• Design and optimise GPU‑accelerated pipelines for multi‑camera vision, video analytics and AI inference.
• Drive adoption of NVIDIA and related AI technologies to improve passenger experience and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex issues covering model accuracy, camera configuration, GPU performance and system integration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to integrate solutions into the broader airport technology stack.
• Mentor engineers, establish standards, playbooks and best practices for model development, benchmarking, deployment and monitoring.
• Promote modern engineering practices such as test‑driven development, lean software development and Agile methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AI and Computer Vision within large‑scale, production environments.
• Strong background in designing GPU‑accelerated pipelines and working with NVIDIA technologies.
• Ability to lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex, multi‑disciplinary challenges.
