Senior Test Engineer - Manual Testing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to lead manual testing efforts for our banking and financial services solutions in Abu Dhabi. The role involves designing test strategies, executing functional, regression, integration, SIT, UAT and end‑to‑end tests, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and test data aligned with business requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) and end‑to‑end scenarios for digital payments, wallets and card processing applications.
• Identify, log and track defects, coordinate with development teams for resolution and support production deployments.
• Mentor and coordinate offshore testing teams, ensuring effective task allocation and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners and architects to clarify requirements and validate test outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing within the banking or financial services domain.
• Strong understanding of digital payment systems, wallets, card processing and mainframe transaction flows.
• Hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with strong communication skills.
