About the role
The Senior Waiter/Waitress leads the service team at Fish Beach Taverna, ensuring seamless guest experiences and high standards of hospitality. This role combines front‑of‑house leadership, operational oversight, and direct guest interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate staff to deliver optimal service, checking grooming, attire and performance.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the venue.
- Manage inventory, stock requisitions and FIFO organization of storage areas.
- Monitor dining room seating, safety, and guest wellbeing, addressing service needs promptly.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related restaurant experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
