Service Delivery Supervisor – Waste Management

About the role

The Service Delivery Supervisor oversees the daily delivery of waste management services, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction. You will lead frontline teams, coordinate vehicles and equipment, and monitor performance against contractual obligations and QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower, vehicles, and equipment to meet service level agreements.
• Supervise day‑to‑day field operations, issue work instructions, and manage route amendments.
• Conduct site visits to verify service quality, investigate complaints, and ensure compliance.
• Lead, motivate, and develop drivers, operators, and field staff through coaching and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies, PPE requirements, and safe work procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records, prepare performance reports, and manage vehicle inspections and maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience supervising field teams in waste collection or related environmental services.
• Strong knowledge of QHSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse operational data and implement corrective actions.
