Service Operator II-SS

About the role

The Service Operator II-SS supports Halliburton’s Baroid product line by preparing, operating and maintaining a range of service equipment at our Abu Dhabi site. Working under direct supervision, you will gain hands‑on experience with key oil‑field processing tools while ensuring documentation and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Rig‑up and rig‑down service equipment, including shale shakers, centrifuges and washing systems.
• Complete required documents, reports and forms related to each service task.
• Operate and maintain cuttings handling and slurrification systems.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dosing.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and promote safety and environmental awareness.
• Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and procedures.
• Attend Baroid‑specific training programs (preferred).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in equipment service or a similar field.
• Effective communication skills and basic computer literacy.
• Ability to read, write and understand technical documentation.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.

• Operation of shale shakers and screen changes.
• Use of centrifuges.
• Management of cuttings handling and slurrification systems.
• Vacuum and pressure washing system operation.
• Basic computer skills.
