Service RMA Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Service RMA Assistant to manage the end‑to‑end Return Merchandise Authorization process for our surveillance equipment in Dubai. The role will act as the primary liaison between customers, vendors and our regional service centre, ensuring timely handling of defective units and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Log RMA requests, verify warranty status and issue RMA numbers.
• Inspect returned products, record fault details and condition.
• Coordinate shipment of defective units to Hanwha Vision’s regional service centre and monitor repair turnaround.
• Maintain accurate RMA records in the ERP system and prepare status reports for management.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding RMA status and inquiries.
• Support inventory of loaner/replacement stock and help identify recurring product defect trends.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in service, RMA, logistics or customer support.
• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, IT or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with vendors and customers.
• Bonus: experience with CCTV, networking or electronics RMA processes and familiarity with Hanwha Vision or similar surveillance brands.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of CCTV, networking and electronics troubleshooting (preferred).
