Service Supervisor

Key responsibilities

• Allocate repair orders and resources to maximize technician productivity, labor utilization, and workshop efficiency.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, remove operational bottlenecks, and ensure on‑time vehicle delivery.
• Ensure compliance with OEM repair procedures, diagnostic standards, and workshop processes.
• Drive workshop KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, utilization, and turnaround time.
• Perform final quality checks to ensure repairs meet OEM standards and reduce repeat repairs.
• Investigate technical issues, customer comebacks, and repair failures, implementing corrective actions.
• Supervise, coach, and develop technicians, identifying training needs and supporting certification programs.
• Conduct regular team briefings on workload, safety, quality, and performance expectations.
• Enforce HSE, safety, and housekeeping standards across workshop operations.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts teams to ensure smooth workflow, timely approvals, and parts availability.
• Prepare and analyze workshop performance reports covering productivity, efficiency, quality, and technician KPIs.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives through performance analysis and operational planning.

Required skills

• Knowledge of workshop KPIs and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with OEM repair procedures and technical bulletins.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and Special Service Tools (SSTs).
• Ability to conduct quality checks and investigate repair failures.
• Experience in allocating resources and managing work‑in‑progress.
