Service Technician – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

Otis is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for ensuring elevators and escalators operate safely and efficiently through troubleshooting, repairs, and planned preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in elevators and escalators.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on elevator and escalator systems.
• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to guarantee optimal performance.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and Otis standards.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or B.Tech.
• 5‑8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
• Understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
