Shift Leader – PCBA Production

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Shift Leader for PCBA production to oversee manufacturing activities during assigned shifts. The role ensures that output, quality, and safety targets are met while providing technical guidance and coordinating with management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all SMT and THT PCBA production activities from start‑up to packaging and outbound delivery.
• Monitor line performance (cycle time, changeover, downtime, scrap) and take corrective actions.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment such as pick‑and‑place machines, laser marking, SPI, reflow ovens, AOI, wave soldering, robotics and manual stations.
• Provide on‑shift technical support to operators and resolve production or quality issues.
• Maintain real‑time KPI accuracy (quality, OEE, OTD, etc.) and enforce work instructions and maintenance checklists.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement.
• Promote multi‑skill development of operators across production processes.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and ability to coordinate a production team.
• Technical expertise in PCBA manufacturing, including both SMT and through‑hole processes.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting equipment and quality issues.
• Ability to communicate goals clearly during shift meetings.
