About the role
The Site Administrator is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the project site, ensuring that staff, logistics, and administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role acts as the main point of contact between the site team and head office, guaranteeing compliance with company policies and high standards of service.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff, plan workloads and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Oversee day‑to‑day activities, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Coordinate staffing needs, manage administrative records, and assist with payroll for the project workforce.
- Provide logistical support including accommodation, catering, transportation and telecommunications.
- Liaise with external service providers, monitor service quality and resolve issues.
- Manage time‑attendance data, control overtime, vacations and report abnormalities.
- Control site purchases, inventory, and safeguard materials.
- Handle petty‑cash transactions, verify on‑site payments and report discrepancies.
- Maintain administrative documents in the BIS system and supply information to internal stakeholders.
- Promote a customer‑focused culture and suggest service improvements.
- Guide and support subordinate staff, acting as a subject‑matter expert.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10–15 years of experience in an administrative position.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
