Site Architect

About the role

Ohana Development is looking for a Site Architect to lead the execution of architectural works across its luxury residential projects. You will ensure that construction follows approved designs, quality standards, and project timelines while upholding the highest level of architectural excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site architectural works to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor construction quality and workmanship against Ohana Development’s standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve architectural and technical issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and mock‑ups before implementation.
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify finishes and detailing meet approved luxury design concepts.
• Identify design discrepancies and work with design/engineering teams on solutions.
• Validate completed works prior to consultant inspections, testing, and handover.
• Participate in snagging, de‑snagging, and final handover activities.
• Review RFIs, site instructions, and variation requests related to architectural works.
• Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, interior design, and landscape teams.
• Monitor contractor performance and adherence to approved construction methods and schedules.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Site Architect, preferably in luxury residential, hospitality, or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, finishing works, and material specifications.
• Experience with UAE projects and familiarity with local authority requirements and building codes.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced construction environment.
