Site Civil Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

NAGANAGA Architects, Designers & Planners is seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer to join its site supervision team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing daily construction activities on residential, mixed‑use and villa projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise daily construction activities to meet the approved programme.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, materials and project requirements.
• Carry out quality control inspections and enforce HSE standards on site.
• Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical and site‑related issues.
• Conduct and coordinate inspections and testing such as concrete testing, soil compaction, reinforcement inspections and utilities testing.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submissions for compliance.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Manage RFIs and NCRs, ensuring timely closure.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation throughout the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with significant UAE site supervision experience.
• Proven experience on residential, mixed‑use and villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality control, inspections and site supervision practices.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with contractors and stakeholders.
