Site Manager – Data Center (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead large‑scale data centre projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role oversees the site from preparation through construction, testing and hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment, prepare and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Act as the on‑site representative of the Project Manager and lead daily coordination meetings.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental processes, conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Provide daily written progress reports, flag resource gaps and manage site‑level issues.
• Coordinate with project managers and service coordinators to optimise resource utilisation and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and raise any unforeseen constraints.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience as a Site Manager on large data centre or power distribution projects.
• Strong background in electrical engineering and electrician training.
• Proven knowledge of health, safety and quality management on construction sites.
• Experience managing mechanical systems such as air‑conditioning, chillers and large‑scale cooling.
• Excellent communication, organisational and people‑management skills.
