Site Manager – Engineering Support Services

About the role

The AFCAP Site Manager leads the execution of the Engineering Support Services contract at Abu Dhabi Air Base, ensuring compliance with USAF expectations and Amentum objectives. This senior position provides on‑site leadership, strategic direction, and serves as the primary liaison with U.S. Air Force stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site operations, guaranteeing safety, compliance, and efficient delivery of engineering and construction services.
• Act as the main point of contact for USAF leadership and contracting representatives.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and delivery of all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
• Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory standards while managing cost control and forecasting.
• Develop and supervise a multi‑disciplinary workforce, ensuring proper staffing and performance.
• Identify and mitigate operational and contractual risks.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and supply‑chain activities.
• Provide timely, accurate reporting to AFCAP program leadership and drive continuous performance improvements.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering and management experience.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, project planning, and ability to interpret plans and drawings.
• Experience supervising engineering staff; professional civil engineer registration preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Will also serve as the Lead Electrical Engineer (licensed) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
