Site Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) to join our on‑shore and off‑shore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on accurate measurement, billing and commercial control of mechanical works within oil & gas EPC contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and re‑measure quantities of mechanical work against contracts, specifications and drawings throughout all construction phases.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Quantities from isometric drawings, plot plans and layout documents.
• Track and record BOQ quantities, as‑built measurements and obtain client approvals.
• Calculate final contract values using approved drawings and contract adjustment formulas.
• Prepare, submit and follow up monthly progress invoices, certify subcontractor and supplier bills and monitor payment schedules.
• Coordinate closely with site execution teams, clients, subcontractors and project management to ensure cost control and contract compliance.

Required profile

• Graduate Mechanical Engineer or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of quantity surveying and billing experience in oil & gas subcontracting companies operating in the Gulf region.
• Proven ability to manage variations, contract administration and commercial control for mechanical construction.
