Site Reliability Engineer

About the role
Khazna, a leading wholesale data‑center provider in the MENA region, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen the reliability engineering program across its data‑center fleet. Reporting to the Reliability Manager, you will monitor performance, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and lead root‑cause analyses to minimise downtime.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor real‑time and historical metrics for power, cooling and IT systems.
- Analyse data to spot trends, failure modes and reliability risks.
- Conduct RCA and FMEA, then implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop condition‑based and predictive maintenance routines using IoT, analytics and machine‑learning tools.
- Support preventive‑maintenance scheduling, documentation and validation.
- Assist in asset lifecycle planning, upgrades and decommissioning.
- Prepare reliability reports, dashboards and present findings to site leadership.
- Lead incident response and ensure rapid recovery and follow‑through.
- Maintain compliance with standards such as ISO, ASHRAE and Uptime Institute.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in reliability or maintenance engineering within a data‑center environment.
- Hands‑on experience with RCA, FMEA and predictive‑maintenance methodologies.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Python and R for scripting and data analysis.
- Experience with monitoring platforms and data‑analytics tools.
- Familiarity with IoT sensors, machine‑learning frameworks and condition‑based monitoring systems.
