Site Superintendent

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Site Superintendent to lead on‑site construction activities for high‑profile projects in the UAE. You will ensure that all works meet contract specifications, consultant directives and local authority requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all construction stages from mobilisation to hand‑over, halting or rectifying any non‑conforming work immediately.
• Coordinate material submittals, obtain consultant approvals and keep an auditable register of all documents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date Method Statements, Risk Assessments and QA‑QC plans on the approved digital platform.
• Work with Project Engineers and Procurement to manage long‑lead items, verify delivery dates and flag schedule impacts.
• Issue latest drawings, contracts and specifications to site crews and manage on‑site drawing control.
• Enforce the QA‑QC plan, witness inspections, sign off completed works and verify material take‑offs and measurements.
• Record labour efficiencies, delays and constraints and submit weekly progress reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising large‑scale construction sites, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and consultant requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Excellent coordination skills with engineers, planners, HSE and commercial teams.
