About the role
We are seeking an active and skilled Cashier to join the Billing team of a leading hospital in Dubai. The role involves preparing accurate bills for both outpatient and inpatient services and coordinating with insurance and corporate partners.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and issue bills for outpatient and inpatient patients.
- Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and corporate clients.
- Calculate cost estimates for upcoming treatments or procedures.
- Charge laboratory investigations and consumables used from ward stock.
- Update patient bills continuously until discharge.
- Handle medical reports, discharge summaries, and schedule post‑discharge appointments.
Required profile
- Minimum two years experience as a cashier in a similar environment.
- Strong typing and computer proficiency.
- Excellent mathematical ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Knowledge of insurance billing; fluency in English and Arabic is desirable.
