SOC Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

We are looking for a proactive SOC Analyst to join IFZA Dubai’s security team. The analyst will protect our information systems by monitoring, analysing, and responding to security incidents while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM dashboards (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel) and security alerts in real time.
• Track and analyse events from security tools such as Microsoft Defender.
• Identify suspicious activities, anomalies, or policy violations.
• Perform initial investigation, classification, and escalation of incidents.
• Execute predefined response actions (device isolation, password resets, IP blocking).
• Check IOC hits against threat intelligence sources and analyse phishing, malware, and malicious URLs.
• Create detailed incident tickets, conduct root‑cause analysis and produce remediation reports.
• Collaborate with internal IT and security teams and communicate with users to validate alerts.
• Deliver security awareness training and produce educational materials.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and incorporate threat intelligence into security posture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in SOC operations.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in SOC, blue‑team or security engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in incident management and compromised recovery.
