Software Engineer, Blockchain

About the role

1inch is looking for a Blockchain Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimise the smart‑contract infrastructure that powers its DeFi ecosystem. You will work with product leads and senior engineers to keep the platform secure, scalable, and at the forefront of crypto innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise blockchain product architecture with a focus on scalability, security and performance.
• Develop, integrate and audit high‑value smart contracts across decentralised protocols.
• Conduct advanced R&D, create proof‑of‑concept experiments and pioneer new DeFi features.
• Build cross‑chain interoperability solutions, including atomic swaps and bridging infrastructure.
• Perform deep gas‑optimisation to ensure low‑latency, cost‑effective execution.
• Analyse attack vectors, enforce security protocols and collaborate with audit teams for flawless launches.
• Champion rigorous code reviews, implement CI/CD pipelines for Web3 and help scale the engineering ecosystem.
