Software Engineer - Python and K8s

About the role

This remote position focuses on building open‑source operations software that automates and simplifies workloads running on Kubernetes across public clouds and private infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain open‑source operations software using Python for reliable, scalable workloads on Kubernetes.
• Work across the Linux stack—including kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, and containers—to improve reliability and automation.
• Build and enhance monitoring and alerting infrastructure supporting production operations.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams following agile methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or a related technical field.
• Professional experience developing software with Python and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on Linux systems administration and experience with at least one public cloud platform.
• Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed remote team.
