Software Engineer – Traders Experience (AI‑Native)

About the role

You will lead the Trader Experience Squad, owning the systems that shape the end‑to‑end trader journey across the FundedNext dashboard and mobile applications. You will drive technical direction, squad execution, and cross‑functional collaboration to build scalable, high‑performance experiences that improve trader engagement, reduce support friction, and optimise onboarding and purchase flows.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the trader journey across web dashboard and mobile apps.
• Reduce support tickets by identifying friction points and delivering scalable fixes.
• Lead mobile app development for iOS and Android, ensuring performance and feature parity.
• Design and optimise purchase, checkout and one‑click repurchase flows.
• Architect and maintain backend services with PHP/Laravel and frontend with Next.js.
• Build high‑performance APIs, notification systems and event‑driven workflows for high‑traffic trading environments.
• Lead sprint planning, technical decision‑making and cross‑squad coordination.
• Leverage AI‑native coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf) to boost productivity.

Required profile

• 6+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience, including squad leadership.
• Strong expertise in PHP/Laravel, Node.js and Next.js.
• Proven track record building high‑traffic web or mobile applications with a focus on UX, reliability and performance.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL database design and optimisation.
• Experience with notification systems, payment/checkout flows and KYC/onboarding processes.
• Ability to mentor engineers, lead sprint execution and collaborate with product, design and risk teams.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑native engineering workflows and modern AI coding agents.
