Software Tester / QA Analyst / Automation Engineer

About the role

This part‑time, on‑site position in Dubai blends the responsibilities of a Software Tester, QA Analyst, and Automation Engineer. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that web and mobile applications meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, report, and track defects to resolution.
• Review user stories, clarify acceptance criteria, and prepare test data.
• Maintain and expand regression test suites.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Participate in test planning, risk assessment, and release activities.

Required profile

• Strong software testing and execution skills, both manual and automated.
• Solid QA capabilities, including clear test‑case design.
• Analytical mindset to interpret requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress and basic scripting abilities.
• Good understanding of SDLC and QA processes (regression, integration, UAT).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work collaboratively.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working on‑site and ability to work part‑time with flexible scheduling in Dubai.
