Solution Architect – Data Center Infrastructure (Pre‑Sales)

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect specializing in Data Center Infrastructure to lead the design and pre‑sales support of mission‑critical facilities. The role involves creating power, cooling, HVAC, rack and fire‑safety solutions for enterprise and government projects, and working closely with clients, OEMs and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design data‑center infrastructure including power distribution, UPS, HVAC, precision cooling, rack layout and fire‑safety systems.
• Create floor plans, rack layouts and single‑line diagrams using Visio and DCIM tools.
• Review statements of work, drawings and bills of quantities for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Lead pre‑sales activities such as proposal preparation, feasibility studies, vendor evaluation and cost estimation.
• Execute preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and cooling issues, performing root‑cause analysis.
• Support cabling, rack installation and equipment deployment.
• Operate and report using DCIM, BMS, SCADA, EPMS and CMMS platforms.
• Collaborate with OEMs, internal engineering teams and client stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data‑center infrastructure design and operations.
• Hands‑on knowledge of power systems, UPS, HVAC, precision cooling, fire safety, racks and cabling.
• Experience delivering projects for enterprise, government or multi‑vendor environments.
• Proficiency with DCIM, BMS, SCADA or EPMS platforms.
• Understanding of redundancy models and capacity planning.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or IT Engineering.
