Sonographer – Radiology (24‑hour on‑call)

About the role

The Sonographer will work in radiography rooms and wards on a 24‑hour on‑call rotation, supporting the Radiology department, Emergency, Operating, OPD and special clinics at Speciality Hospital Al Ain.

Key responsibilities

• Review radiologic requests, determine appropriate regions and projections, and arrange patient flow.
• Transport, prepare, and position patients with care and courtesy.
• Operate and adjust advanced radiographic and sonographic equipment to obtain optimal images while adhering to radiation safety regulations.
• Assist with contrast media administration and specialized procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, inventory, and compliance with infection‑control and OSH policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography.
• Minimum two years of post‑qualification experience in a related field.
• Current license to practice in UAE (DOH/DHA/MOH).
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic desirable.
