Spa Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a warm and professional Spa Receptionist to join the wellness team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As the first point of contact for spa guests, you will deliver exceptional service while efficiently handling all aspects of spa operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for spa inquiries, bookings, and reservations from direct guests and partner hotels.
• Process day‑spa and residential spa bookings with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person.
• Maintain organized records of bookings, client preferences, and administrative documents.
• Follow up on provisional bookings to confirm reservations and maximize occupancy.
• Coordinate scheduling and communicate treatment details to therapists and staff.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints with empathy and resolve issues efficiently.
• Manage spa inventory records and support administrative tasks as needed.
• Assist with spa treatments when required and collaborate with hotel partners for group bookings and special events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a spa, wellness, or hospitality reception role is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Professional appearance, calm under pressure, and a genuine passion for guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to rotating schedules.
• Valid work authorization for the United Arab Emirates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems and booking software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
