Spa Treatment Supervisor

About the role

The Spa Treatment Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the treatment area at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, ensuring every guest receives a world‑class spa experience. Reporting to the Spa Operations Manager, you will combine team leadership, training oversight and operational excellence in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the spa treatment area to maintain exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop, deliver and record training plans for all therapists, coordinating with the Learning & Development department.
• Conduct LQE and FORBES refresher training to ensure best practices are consistently applied.
• Manage stock control, conduct inventory counts and place orders for professional products, amenities and tools.
• Oversee spa linen inventory and ensure linen condition meets standards.
• Ensure treatment rooms comply with FHLSS and local hygiene legislation.
• Participate in demonstrations and special events as required.
• Motivate therapists, monitor team morale and report ambience to the Spa Operations Manager.
• Drive sales targets and coach staff on effective upselling techniques.
• Perform spa treatments to the highest standards when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising spa or wellness treatment teams.
• Strong knowledge of training delivery and assessment for therapists.
• Ability to manage inventory, stock takes and ordering processes.
• Familiarity with FHLSS, local hygiene regulations and best‑practice standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate staff and maintain a positive work environment.
• Sales‑oriented mindset with ability to achieve targets and coach upselling.
