Special Educator

About the role

Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement inclusive strategies that meet the diverse learning needs of students with special educational needs (SEN). Provide differentiated instruction and support to individuals or small groups, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement inclusive teaching strategies in partnership with classroom teachers.
• Deliver differentiated instruction and small‑group support for students with SEN.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
• Work closely with parents, teachers and external specialists to create a collaborative support network.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions and accommodations tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Stay updated on best practices, research and advancements in special education.
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity.

Required profile

• B.Ed. or M.Ed. in Special Education.
• Minimum two years experience as a SEN teacher or coordinator.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills for working with students and parents.
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
