Specialist Consultant Plastic Surgeon – Government Sector, UAE

About the role

We are a leading healthcare organization in the UAE seeking a Specialist/Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join our government‑run surgical team in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgical care within a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and surgically manage a wide range of plastic and reconstructive conditions.
• Perform reconstructive and aesthetic procedures including facial, breast, body‑contouring, burns, hand and microsurgical operations.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments, develop individualized surgical plans and ensure post‑operative monitoring and complication management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as dermatology, oncology, maxillofacial, orthopaedics, ENT and others.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, participate in audits, meetings and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• MBBS, MD or equivalent medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
• Board‑certified or equivalent (UK CCT/FRCS, American Board, Australian FRACS, South African Board or similar).
• Significant experience in a tertiary‑care hospital or specialist surgical centre.
• Strong surgical judgement, technical expertise and commitment to patient‑centred care.
