Specialist Engineer – Asset/SPIR Coordination (Offshore)

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Specialist Engineer – Asset/SPIR Coordination will support the ADNOC PMC project, initially working from the contractor’s office and later rotating on an offshore site schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and coordinate asset registers for offshore facilities, ensuring accurate hierarchy and tagging.
• Create, validate and manage SPIR (Spare Parts Interchangeability Record) documentation and equipment master data.
• Verify completeness of equipment records, technical documentation and digital asset information.
• Support the transfer of asset data into client systems and digital lifecycle management tools.
• Act as the central liaison between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams.
• Prepare and deliver project hand‑over packages for Wellhead Towers, subsea cable systems, offshore piping, boat landings and foundation brackets.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience in asset data management for offshore or heavy‑industrial projects.
• Familiarity with SPIR documentation and equipment master data processes.
• Ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary environment and coordinate across functional teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and undertake offshore rotation (6 weeks on / 3 weeks off).
