Specialist Engineer, Reliability

About the role

The Specialist Engineer, Reliability will lead reliability initiatives for plant systems across ADNOC assets, interpreting performance data and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) analysis for plant systems and equipment.
• Monitor KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF and Availability using validated data sources like SAP and Maximo.
• Develop, validate and optimise equipment‑specific maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance programmes using RCM and FMEA/FMECA.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence of failures.
• Review and re‑engineer existing preventive maintenance history to improve effectiveness and alignment with field practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Corrosion, Metallurgy, Process or related engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in RAM analysis, RCA facilitation, FMEA/RCM, PM optimisation and asset criticality, preferably with ADNOC or other major operators.
• Offshore experience is a plus.
