Specialist Gastroenterologist – Outpatient Practice

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist Gastroenterologist to join HealthHub Al Qusais, delivering specialist outpatient gastro‑enterology care to a diverse patient base in Dubai. The role involves managing routine and complex digestive conditions, developing long‑term treatment plans, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist gastroenterology consultations and manage chronic digestive disorders.
• Perform endoscopic and other gastroenterology procedures, including diagnostics and therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and oversee long‑term treatment plans for patients with inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, functional bowel disorders and upper GI conditions.
• Collaborate with internal referral networks such as family medicine, internal medicine, surgery and paediatrics to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• UAE licence (DHA, DOH/HAAD or MOH) as a Specialist Gastroenterologist.
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialist experience, preferably with prior UAE clinical exposure.
• Strong outpatient gastroenterology background with procedural experience.
• Excellent patient communication skills and ability to build long‑term relationships; fluent English, Arabic advantageous.
